Weapons that can obtain two damage perks simultaneously are incredibly rare, so don't immediately discard them. For example, if you own a Transfiguration Scout Rifle with Kill Clip and Rampage, both perks will stack multiplicatively while active to greatly enhance your damage with that gun. Weapon buffs are perks that enhance your damage after a certain condition-clear examples being Rampage, Kill Clip, Harmony, Frenzy, and many more. Should you have multiple player buffs active at once, the buff with the strongest effect will be the buff affecting your character.įor example, if you're standing in a Well of Radiance while you're affected by Weapons of Light, your character will deal 35% increased damage until Weapons of Light expires, at which point Well of Radiance's 25% damage buff will take over.
In general, you can only have one player buff affecting you at a time, but there are a few exceptions we'll cover later. These buffs affect the damage of all of your weapons. Player buffs are boons provided by certain abilities, armor mods, or Exotics.
